Vibratory finishing, or tumble deburring, is a mass finishing process that uses various media to achieve desired results.
How the Process Works:
Our tumble deburring machines provide vibratory action that causes media to rub against parts for a clean finish. The process removes sharp edges or burrs and smoothes surfaces of metal components using a vibratory bowl or tub. Vibratory finishing action results from a spinning counterweighted bearing assembly that transfers toroidal or oscillation energy to the mass of media and components inside the process chamber.
Eaglemaster, based in Plymouth, Minnesota, offers varying types of media that can be used in tumble deburring machines to create the ideal finish you’re looking for. Some of the media we use to establish different finishes in our vibratory deburring process include ceramics, plastics or porcelains.
